Friday Walk reflects that care-free 'stepping out' when you have the whole week-end in front of you. The long, easy moment, just now deciding where to go and what to do. A happy song in a minor key. This whole album is eclectic like that. Blue Bird Strutt and Magpie Mischief toggle between the major and minor, challenging the soloist to come up with the real stuff. To me, that's what Jazz is. Stretching a little more each day. So, we let that unstructured time unfold with the music.
