When Boaz wanted to marry her he said that she was, “a woman of noble character.” Is that romantic, or what? Ruth is a model of loving kindness. To be Ruth-less is to be without compassion. When I think about this, I wonder,”what kind of love makes such a declaration?” What does being under that kind of spell feel like?
