(words & music by Barry Keys) The story of Ruth is probably one of the most beautiful love stories ever. Ruth practiced true love. “Whither thou goest, I will go...and thy God will be my God.” To me, that’s going all in, all the way. When Boaz wanted to marry her he said that she was, “a woman of noble character.” Is that romantic, or what? Ruth is a model of loving kindness. To be Ruth-less is to be without compassion. When I think about this, I wonder,”what kind of love makes such a declaration?” What does being under that kind of spell feel like?
lyrics
How high the sun?
How far does this road go?
Where ever we run
That’s where my heart will go too
Where you will go
I will go also
Who is your God?
That is my God too
So, what is love?
Simple dedication
So, what is love?
I’m not sure I really know
